We are happy to inform you that another, 8th edition of the “To Bring Memory Back” project is about to begin. The program’s formula is both elastic and wide: the students of secondary and high schools, using the available archival information and testimonies of senior citizens of their towns and cities discover the multicultural heritage of their neighborhood and bring its memory back by reconstructing the history of the local Jewish community. The next step is to take out different public actions in order to rediscover the memory of multicultural heritage.
We invite students of secondary and high schools to take part in the project. All information can be found on the www.pamiec.fodz.pl website.
The “To Bring Memory Back”, realized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, is being supported by the the Society of the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw and realized in partnership with the POLIN Museum of History of Polish Jews.
