On March 12, 2021, the first phase of a FODZ project to commemorate the former Jewish community of Nasielsk was completed in a form of a symbolic gate leading to the local Jewish cemetery. The project was carried out as a result of the exceptional commitment of the descendants’ group of former Nasielsk Jewish community, represented by Mr. Glenn Kurtz, the president of the Nasielsk Society for Remembrance and Reconciliation and the author of a book “Three Minutes in Poland”, about a 1938 home movie of Nasielsk's Jewish community. Without inspiration and active support by the descendants’ group implementation of the project would not have been possible. Erecting of the symbolic gate would also not have been possible without active involvement by a local volunteer, Mrs. Katarzyna Sosnowska-Gizińska,  who is dedicated to preserving the memory of former Jewish communities of Mazovia region.
