On October 25^th 2021 representative of FODZ participated in fourth Thematic Seminar organized by the Jewish Heritage Network Moreshet. The Seminar focused on “Intangible Jewish Heritage”, dealing with aspects related  to preservation, interpretation and celebration of this specific type of heritage (you may access the Seminar on: https://youtu.be/aL9zsT9sTmA). The online event offered an opportunity to present anew project by FODZ: Virtual Connections to aterial Jewish Heritage in Poland  which has just been launched. The project is a public task financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland within the grant competition “Public Diplomacy 2021.

This project is composed of two parts:

which contains virtual models and tours of historical monuments of the Jewish heritage such as synagogues, pre-funeral home, beit-midrash and cemeteries

·         A series of webinars the historical and cultural value of the material Jewish heritage in Poland, and challenges that Polish and Jewish partners, engaged in its preservation, face.
