2022-05-25 Agreement concerning the preservation of old cemetery in Ostrów Mazowiecka
On May 23, 2022, an Agreement between the Association of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland and the City of Ostrów Mazowiecka regarding the regulatory application concerning the Old Jewish Cemetery located in this town, at Targowa Street, was solemnly concluded. As a result of the Agreement, the authorities of the City of Ostrów Mazowiecka undertook to take constant care of the Cemetery Area in order to preserve the cultural and religious character of the burial of the Jewish community and to place a plaque commemorating the Old Cemetery, as well as to comply with the rules of Jewish religious law in relation to this Area. » back |
