On September 4, 2022, a meeting of Jewish organizations operating in Poland took place at the Yiddish Cultural Center in Warsaw. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Israel, Mr. Yacov Livne as well as Ms. Shani Tayar, Deputy Head of Mission and Ms. Elena Lagutin, Director of Public Diplomacy, who are just now starting their duties in Warsaw. During the meeting, in which a representative of FODZ participated, the possibilities of cooperation, undertaking joint activities were discussed, as well as problems we encounter in everyday activities. Fruitful discussion and exchange of opinions served the integration of communities that work, among others, to preserve Jewish heritage in Poland, as well as to develop Polish-Israeli relations and contacts with communities involved in Polish-Jewish relations.
