As a result of exemplary cooperation undertaken by FODŻ with the local authorities of Mikołajki, a project of revitalization of the fence of Jewish cemetery, located in Mikołajki, at Dybowska Street, was recently implemented. This cemetery was founded in 1881. It was already previously preserved  and commemorated in 2006 by the residents of Mikołajki, with intention to restore the memory of the local Jewish community. We take this opportunity to express our warm thanks to the residents and local authorities of Mikołajki for the care that surrounds the cemetery area and for the memory of the former Jewish community, which co-created the rich social, religious and cultural landscape of the region.
