In the last days, before the first snows, as part of the cooperation between FODŻ and the National Institute for the Conservation of Monuments (NIKZ), cleaning works were carried out at the Jewish cemetery in Baligród. The first stage of the work included mowing grass and self-sown seeds and cutting shrubs. The works were carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Rabbinical Commission for Cemeteries in Poland. We take this opportunity to express our warm thanks to the National Institute for the Conservation of Monuments for their help in bringing order to the cemetery in Baligród. At the same time, we hope to continue work at this cemetery, as part of the cooperation between FODŻ and NIKZ also next year.
