Inspired by Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, „Bieszczady” Tourism Society, started the final phase of the renovation of the Jewish cemetery in Ustrzyki Dolne, along with the students of local Middle School working within “To Bring Memory Back” program. The town is located on the Chassidic Route. In near future the vegetation which covers presently the cemetery’s ground will be removed and a memorial plaque will be placed on the spot. The Matzevots are being counted and documented, and a multimedia presentation about the past and present of the cemetery is almost ready.
