On the 12th of April 2005 a meeting with the town’s Mayor took place. During the meeting the case of the Frampol Jewish cemetery was discussed. The cemetery was a place of martyrdom of the Jewish people during the Second World War. The Foundation, together with the local authorities proposed a motion to the Council of Protecting the Memory of Warfare and Martyrdom requesting special funding to be donated for cleaning up the area of the cemetery and commemorating the place of extermination of the Jewish people.
