On March 5, 2007, representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland met with the Mayor of Krashnik (the lubelskie region) to discuss the future function for the revitalized Krashnik synagogues. Krashnik is the second town of the Chassidic Route, where the Foundation initiates the revitalization process, in the partnership with local authorities.
