linia 2005-04-20 Wysokie Mazowieckie - Jewish cemetery.

Funds are being raised for restoring the Jewish cemetery in Wysokie Mazowieckie (previously Lomzynskie, currently Podlaskie Voivoideship). The Foundation has initiated the cooperation with the town’s Mayor, Jaroslaw Siekierko, and the parish priest, Edward Zembrzycki, who are both willing to successfully accomplish the project of restoring the Jewish cemetery. The Jewish and Catholic cemeteries in Wysokie Mazowieckie are situated next to one another, separated only by a draining trench, so the support of the priest is particularly important. It must also be pointed out that the cemetery is situated near the town’s center and surrounded by residential buildings. After a restoration it can become a very important spot for the local population.
