Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland starts restoration works on the cemetery in Biala (Opolskie voivodeship). It is the oldest and the largest necropolis in this region; around 900 matzevot were preserved on its grounds, and the oldest one dates back to 1621.
