On August 3, 2007, a group of visitors from Israel met in Debica with the students of the local school. The meeting, coorganized by the Foundation for the Preservation of the Jewish Heritage in Poland, was realized within the framework of the Chassidic Route project.  During their stay in Debica the guests - descendants of the local Jews - have visited the cemetery and met the students of the School Complex No.2 in Debica, participating in the "To Bring Memory Back" educational program. We believe that this meeting becomes a valuable basis for an exchange of opinions, and the develeopment of friendly contacts between Polish and Israeli citizens.
