It is with excitement that we inform that the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, along with the Jewish Community in Warsaw and the Slawatycze Landsmanshaft, have finished the realization of the first stage of the cleanup and commemoration project of the Jewish cemetery in Slawatycze (lubelskie province). A new gate was built on the cemetery and a memorial plaque commemorating the local Jewish community will be placed nearby.
