We inform you that on January 7, 2008, two memorial tablets were ceremonially unveiled at Skierniewicka 21 street in Warsaw. The tablets comemorate Polish and Jewish forced labourers of the German armaments factory WAVERMA. The ceremony was organized by the Circle of the Michal Konarski School Complex, the Jewish Institute in Warsaw, the Council for Protection of Memory of the Battle and Martyrdom and the Ursus factory. the initiative came from engineer Jerzy Zacharzewski, one of the survivors of the factory.
