We are happy to inform that in consequence of the meeting with the authorities of Torun, dedicated to the renovation and proper commemoration of the local Jewish cemetery, which took place on March 11, 2008, a decision was taken by the authorities of the city to liquidate a playground and a basketball court located on the cemetery grounds. They will be relocated to a different place, outside the necropolis, which is today a city park. The works are to be over before the end of June 2008.
