Between April 22-27 2008 the 5th International Jewish Motifs Film Festival will take place in "Muranow' cinema in Warsaw.
47 movies will be contending for the Warsaw Phoenix prize. They deal with the subjects such as the history of the Jewish nation, contemporary life of youth Israelis, and Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and analyze the Jewish religiosity, art and tradition in conflict with the modern world. The audience will see the movies realized by American, Israeli, Belgian, British and Polish filmmakers.
A prominent Polish filmmaker and producer Janusz Morgenstern will be the honorary guest of the Festival. 
Admission is free for all showings.
