The Police managed to identify the culprit of the devastation of Tzaddik Elimelech's ohel in Lezajsk. The 18-year-old inhabitant of Lezajsk district, who destroyed the elevations of the building during the night of May 4-5, 2008 by painting large swastikas, Star of David on gallows and anti-Semitic slogans, will now face charges in court. "We see it as a big success on the part of Lezajsk Police" says the CEO of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, which immediately reported this act of crime to the authorities.
