Over 8 thousand participants from all around the world and 1,5 thousand pupils and students from Poland will take part in this year's March of the Living, which will walk the route from Auschwitz to Birkenau on May 1, 2008. Numerous additional events are organized as part of the celebrations between April 28 and May 11. Participating will be youths from Israel and the Diaspora. Young Jews will be visiting Warsaw, Cracow, Lodz, Auschwitz, Lublin, Zamosc and Kazimierz Dolny. Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland will coorganize the meetings in Warsaw and Brody between American Jewish youth and the Polish students taking part in the 'To Bring Memory Back' program.
