We are most happy to inform you of actions taken by two youngsters from Ryki (lubelskie province), who commemorated the local Jewish cemetery by placing a makeshift memorial plaque with the Star of David, and cleaning up the cemetery grounds. Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland wishes to express sincere thanks to both young men who, acting on their own initiative, took care of the resting place of the prewar citizens of their town. In near future the Foundation will assure a permanent commemoration of the Jewish cemetery in Ryki.
