On July 6, 2008, the sixth March in Memory of the Ghetto took place in Rzeszow. It begun at the Rzeszow Staroniwa train station, from where the local Jews were transported to the Belzec death camp. The event was organized by the friends of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland.
