Thanks to the efforts of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland the former boundaries of the Jewish cemetery in Labiszyn (kujawsko-pomorskie province) were retraced. The cemetery was established in the late 17th century. According to a book published by Rabbi Heppner and Herzberg, it contained, among others, the graves of the rabbis murdered during the Polish-Swedish war by Czarniecki's army. The next stage of the works will be a commemoration of the "old" cemetery with the help of the Szubin Forest District.
