On October 24, 2008, a meeting dedicated to the Jewish cuisine took place in Centre of Culture and Promotion in Krasnik (lubelskie province). The participants learned the history and meaning of numerous traditional dishes and most important Jewish holidays. They also had a chance to taste Jewish dishes. The action was realized in cooperation with the Town Office of Krasnik and Centre of Culture and Promotion within the frames of the 'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage. Cooperation with Local Partners in Selected 15 Towns. Education for Tolerance' program, supported by the Batory Foundation and the Town Office of Krasnik.
