Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland intervened in a case involving the discovery of human bones during building works carried out on a parcel next to the Jewish cemetery in Bilgoraj (lubelskie province). Public Prosecutor's office and the local Monument Conservator were informed of the case. Works were stopped until the place will be examined by the representatives of the Rabbinic Commission.
