On October 28, 2008, the workshops for the employees and teachers took place in the former synagogue building, which today hosts the Public Library, in Niebylec (podkarpackie province). Among the subjects discussed were the history of the synagogue and of an ensemble of unique polychrome paintings which orbate its interior. The participants were prepared to carry out library lessons for students and tourists visiting the synagogue. The event, which gathered 26 teachers, was organized within the frames of the 'Leczna - Common Past, Two Cultures' project, supported by the Town Office and the 'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage. Cooperation with Local Partners in Selected 15 Towns. Education for Tolerance' program, supported by the Batory Foundation.
