Between October 29-30, 2008, a series of lectures organized by the Polish Jewish Youth Organization (ZOOM) thanks to the support of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland and the local Town Office took place in Sanok (podkarpackie province).
Lectures were given at the BWA Gallery and the local Primary School by Aleksander Schwarz ('Basics of the Jewish Cemetery Law'), Alicja Mroczkowska ('Burial Organization and the Tahar ceremony - based on the example of its reactivation in Warsaw') and Remigiusz Sosnowski ('Symbolics of the Matzevot'). Participating were, among others, the students members of the local history circle of interest who took place in the 'To Bring Memory Back' program.
