On November 20, 2008, tolerance and intercultural dialogue workshops for teachers and local leaders took place in Tykocin (lubelskie province), led by the experts of the Holocaust Research Center of the Jagiellonian University. The event was organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland along with Center of Sport, Culture and Tourism of Tykocin Land, as part of the 'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage.
