On November 21, 2008 a lecture on history and culture of the Polish Jews was delivered in Medyka (podkarpackie province) by Ph. D. Romana Kolarzowa, Professor of the Reszow University, who also participated in a meeting with the inhabitants of the town. The lecture, given for the students and teachers of the Middle School in Medyka, gathered 100 participants. 20 inhabitants of Medyka participated in a meeting, organized in the local Community Culture Center. 
The action was realized within the frames of the 'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage. Cooperation with Local Partners in Selected 15 Towns. Education for Tolerance' program, supported by the Batory Foundation.
