We are happy to announce that a cycle of Sephardic Jewish music workshops for students, carried out by the Karol Namyslowski Philharmonic Orchestra of Zamosc, has just begun. The program was conceived by the experts in Sephardic Jews history and music, cooperating with the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. 40 such workshops will take place before the end of the school year. In November and December the workshops will be organized in ONZ High School in Bilgoraj, Middle School in Turobin, Marii Konopnickiej High School in Zamosc, Middle School in Jaroslawiec, Middle School in Sitno, IIIrd High School in Zamosc, High School Complex No.1 in Zamosc, and High and Professional School Complex in Hrubieszow.
The event is being organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland together with Karol Namyslowski Philharmonic Orchestra of Zamosc, as part of the
'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage. Cooperation with Local Partners in Selected 15 Towns. Education for Tolerance' program, supported by the Batory Foundation.
