On December 11, 2008, at 16:00, a meeting between youth and senior citizens of Milejczyce (podlaskie province) took place in the local Community Culture Center. The guests talked with the students about their Jewish neighbors in the times before the war. Present at the meeting was also the representative of the 'Movement for Earth' Socio-Ecological Initiative Society  of Siemiatycze. The Society, well known for its impressive number of initiatives promoting the multicultural tradition of the region, will support the actions taken by the Community Culture Center with its knowledge and experience.
The action was realized within the frames of the 'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage. Cooperation with Local Partners in Selected 15 Towns. Education for Tolerance' program, supported by the Batory Foundation.
