On December 14, 2008, a meeting resuming the actions taken in Milejczyce (podlaskie province) by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland in cooperation with the School Complex and the Community Culture Center took place in the building of the School Complex in Milejczyce. During the meeting a collection of the prewar pictures of the town gathered by the students under the guidance of the Culture Center were presented to the public. Soon they will become part of a permanent exhibition in the Culture Center building. Nearly 90 people participated in the meeting.   
The action was organized within the frames of the 'Research on the Attitude Towards Jews and Their Heritage. Cooperation with Local Partners in Selected 15 Towns. Education for Tolerance' program, supported by the Batory Foundation.
