linia 2009-02-18 TO BRING MEMORY BACK. BIALYSTOK

On February 18, 2009, a premiere of the ‘Report from the Afterworld’ play based on the writings of Sara Nomberg-Przytyk took place in the Puppet Theater of Bialystok. The play was prepared by the students of the King Casimir the Great High School in Bialystok under the tutelage of their teacher Grazyna Dawidowicz, within the framework of the ‘To Bring Memory Back’ program. The premiere was preceded by a lecture entitled ‘Ghetto in Bialystok through the prose of Sara Nomber-Przytyk’, delivered by PhD Ewa Rogalewska. Participating in the ceremony was the representative of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, co-organizer of the event.
