Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland placed a memorial tablet commemorating the Flaksberg family of Siemiatycze (lubelskie province) at the gate of the local Jewish cemetery. The tablet is a joint initiative of the Foundation and the descendants of Flaksberg family, currently living in Brasil.
Between 2007-2008 the Foundation carried out a renovation of the cemetery in Slawatycze, cleaning its grounds and building a gate.
