Restoration works started at the Jewish cemetery in Chrzanow (malopolskie province), which was devastated by unknown perpetrators in the middle of March, 2009. Prisoners of the nearby State Prison in Trzebinia offered their help in reconstruction. The plans include renovation of damaged tombstones and a permanent monitoring of the cemetery grounds. The Police is looking for the vandals who did the damage.
