A plaque commemorating the former Scheinbach synagogue was unveiled on the wall of the building, currently hosting the city library. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Israel to Poland, the Israeli consul from Krakow and representatives of the local authorities. The plaque was funded by Michael Freund from Israel. The meeting gave rise to important discussions concerning the renovation and commemoration of the old Jewish cemetery in Przemysl.
