On September 10th, 2009 a tablet commemorating the local Jewish community was unveiled at the  Jewish cemetery in Aleksandrow Kujawski (kujawsko-pomorskie province). The tablet was made on the initiative of the town's authorities. The ceremony of unveiling was attended by a representaitve of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland.
