Another stage of cleanup works is over at the Jewish cemetery in Leczna. The works are carried out by the 'Rainbow' Association of Homeless and Unemplyed People in Leczna in cooperation with Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, within the framework of the Chassidic Route project. Before the winter comes the members of the Association will take one more action to keep the cemetery grounds clean.

The Jewish cemetery in Leczna was established in the second half of the 16th century. During the World War II it was devastated by the Germans and no matzevot remain on its grounds.
