Thanks to the efforts of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, an information plaque was installed at the Jewish cemetery grounds in Zwierzyniec. After the repairing of a damaged fence in middle August 2009, it marks another step towards the full restoration of the 19th century old necropolis. Over a a dozen matzevot remained on the cemetery grounds.
