2009-10-21 HAVERIM - FRIENDS. KNYSZYN
On October 21, 2009, a group of Israeli students visited Knyszyn. The guests worked at the local Jewish cemetery along with Polish students from the School Complex, toured the town and took part in joint workshops. The students from Knyszyn participated in the last two editions of the ‘To Bring Memory Back’ program led by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. The meeting was organized by the Foundation within the new project called ‘Haverim – Friends. Polish-Jewish youth meetings’, supported by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland.
