On November 16, 2009, a monument commemorating the Jewish community of Torun was ceremonially unveiled on the grounds of the local Jewish cemetery 18-22 Pulaskiego St. The representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, partner of the project, participated in the event.
