On December 13th, 2009 a meeting devoted to Chanukah took place in the building of the Great Synagogue in Tykocin. The meeting was coorganized by the Museum in Tykocin (Branch of the Podlaskie Museum in Białystok and the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland.
