On November 24, 2009 representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland met with the authorities of Lancut, one of the most important towns participating in the Chassidic Route project. The aim of the meeting was to discuss cooperation for the restoration of the famous Baroque synagogue in Lancut.
