On January 16th-18th 2006 in Sulejowek (near Warsaw) a meeting for teachers organized by the “Children of the Holocaust” Association in Poland will take place. The purpose of the meeting is the need of introducing the issue of the Holocaust education, regarding the forthcoming Holocaust Remembrance Day, which in Poland is celebrated on April 19th that is on the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
The meeting will by attended by a representative of the Foundation, who will present the “To Bring Memory Back” educational program (details concerning the program are to be found at Education). The teachers will also receive educational materials for the “To Bring Memory Back” program, which contain information on Jewish religion, culture and history.
