In January and February 2006 the Foundation gave access to a part of its archives to a PhD candidate from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, USA. His dissertation is supervised by Professor Christopher R. Browning, who is known as the author of "Nazi Policy, Jewish Workers, German Killers” (New York: Cambridge University Press, 2000). The dissertation focuses on the problem of rebuilding and preserving monuments after WWII, particularly on the postwar handling of Jewish communal property in Poland over the period of 1945-1989.
Supporting scientific research concerning Jewish Heritage is one of the statutory goals of the Foundation.
