On May 6, 2010, CEO and the representatives of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland were present at the ceremonial opening of the White Stork Synagogue in Wroclaw.
Complete renovation of the building was carried out thanks to the efforts of the Union of Jewish Communities in Poland and the Bente Kahan Foundation and was supported by the EEA Financial Mechanism (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the City of Wroclaw. White Stork Synagogue is the second – after Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin – synagogue in Poland restored by the Jewish community.
