On May 10, 2010 by the efforts of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland over 60 matzevot used during the World War II to pave a courtyard of the Gestapo prison in Mogielnica were unearthed and secured. In near future, after the renovation of the Jewish cemetery in Mogielnica, they will be returned to the cemetery grounds. Works were carried out under supervision of the representatives of the Foundation.
