We are happy to inform that paving works at the Warsaw Jewish cemetery in Okopowa St. launched by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland in cooperation with the Warsaw Jewish Religious Community are nearing completion.
The works are implemented thanks to the generosity of Maria and Kazimierz Brandys, following whose decision the Foundation came into possession of the royalties to the writer’s books. Kazimierz Brandys died on March 11th, 2000 in Paris. According to their will the royalty income is assigned for preservation of Jewish heritage in Poland.
