Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland regretfully informs of another act of vandalism, which took place on Jewish cemetery in Augustow (Podlaskie province). The vandals damaged the memorial plaque, founded in 2002 by the families of the local victims of Holocaust.
The Foundation will report this act to the authorities.
