We are happy to inform you that three information plaques were installed on the grounds of the Jewish cemetery in Torun, located on 18-22 Pulaskiego St. The plaques describe the history of the 18th-century old cemetery. Almost exactly a year earlier, in November 2009, a monument commemorating the Jewish community of Torun was ceremonially unveiled at the cemetery. The representatives of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, partner of the cemetery restoration project, participated in the event.
