On May 23, 2011, students of the High School No. 1 in Kedzierzyn-Kozle, participating in this year’s edition of the “To Bring Memory Back” project, along with the prisoners from the local detention center, cleaned up the Jewish cemetery in Kedzierzyn-Kozle. This action was carried out within the framework of two projects – “Tikkun – Repair”, realized by Polish and Israeli Prison Services (of which the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland is a partner), and “To Bring Memory Back”, which is being realized by the Foundation since 2005. » back |
